Abide with Me ♪ ♫ — Ask God to Abide with Haiti Today

In Life and Death, Lord, Abide with Haiti

“This world is a bridge. Pass over it, but think not to build your dwelling upon it.” This is a quote attributed to Jesus (Issa) which was carved into an Islamic temple in India. The photo shows the Golden Gate bridge in the background. Nunitak started in that ‘heavenly’ place beyond the other side. If you are diligent, you will remember this quote some day. But some will notice it now…

A high population density is not necessarily
unsustainable but may call for high educational
levels.

Further, trouble does not track with population
density.

However, resources and education being limited
seems to call strongly for population control.

Further, high density calls for resource imports
that could be strained depending on resources
and events elsewhere.

Generally, Nunitak goes for 43 and under.
44 /sq. km.is too many, unless it is a city.

Cast iron skillet care — video

Nunitak bought some pots and pans from China and the teflon came off all very soon. I have been hearing horror stories about cadmium and these pots and pans have some kind of strange odor about them, never noticed on American-made cookware. Therefore Nunitak has decided to use Cast Iron Skillet and to buy only stainless steel cookware henceforth.

Good cookware is more expensive, but Nunitak thinks it is worth the added expense in comparison to cheap. Just start small with one or two items and build up your quality cookware over time. The food cooks better and you will not have to worry about poisoning yourself. I won’t buy Chinese-made, teflon-coated cookware again — unless it is stainless steel or aluminum. Some French chefs like copper-bottom cookware, but it is the most expensive of all. Some doctors advise against aluminum cookware. Cast iron is safe for skillets. But you will want to chose your cookware carefully and stick to quality, if possible.

Enameled cookware for pots seems better than teflon. Some good enameled cookware comes from Poland.

However, many things will change down here and from time to time big changes could occur, some of these organized from above.
